Nixon Independent Sales Representative
Nixon Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Representative in the Southeastern US. You will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that is in line with our Nixon brand values within the territory and distribution markets assigned. The ideal candidate for this position must reside in one of the indicated areas listed as Territory. Territory being the Southeast US: VA, WVA, NC, SC, GA, AL. This position directly reports to the North American Sales Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute sales plan set by North American Sales managers for assigned territory, distribution channels, product categories and key accounts.
- Generating new business by prospecting, referrals, networking, researching, conducting private showings, attending trade shows, setting up appointments and visiting potential new customers.
- Recommending leads and prospects in order to maximize sales in assigned territory.
- Ensuring potential customers meet credit requirements, brand standards, and distribution targets.
- Reporting sales visitation schedule and lead information to the Nixon Sales Manager.
- Educate and inform accounts on the Nixon brand, news, events, contest, etc. through regular PR/marketing updates and seasonal retail sales clinics.
- Identifying customer needs and maximize up selling and cross selling opportunities.
- Presenting and selling products, programs and added-vales to the customers.
- Monitoring and tracking inventory of the individual sales lines.
- Providing feedback to management on customer satisfaction, product quality, and program and campaign acceptance.
- Assist in retail marketing with key events within the territory.
- Execute premium merchandising campaign.
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years experience
- Background in action sports, luxury goods, and/or jewelry industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience in developing and growing sales territories.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Ability to understand campaign and program requirements.
- Excellent organization and Time Management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Strong presentation skills and proficient at Excel/Word programs.

Merchandiser, AC/SG
Reporting to the Category Manager for Soft Goods and Accessories, the Merchandiser works along side the Design Manager to developing commercially viable and consumer relevant performance products that are leading in design, innovation, function, and quality. Merchandiser is responsible for following set timelines with vendors and designers and will play a significant role in the product creation process responsible of managing in-line projects and SMU projects from technical package to final confirmation of product. This person will work with the team of Developers’ and Designers and overseas and local manufactures to deliver product, margin, and quality objectives while meeting calendar deadlines.
Specific Responsibilities:
- As Merchandiser, AC/SG, you will work under the supervision of the Category Manager to outline the optimum product mix using sales data, market trends, brand direction, and intuition while adhering to brand guidelines throughout all aspects of the development process.
- You will establish, maintain, and communicate schedules for design and development of your categories based on Master Schedule set by DPD.
- You will work with internal and external design resources to ensure timely and consistent execution of design.
- You will ensure timely delivery of spec packs to vendors for both product and trim.
- Work directly with factory agents, technicians, pattern makers and sample makers to ensure best possible product execution and quality in every aspect.
- Oversee all pattern development; trim package development, material/color development, fit/wear testing, size grading, etc., throughout the development cycle.
- You will ensure timely delivery of Protos, Photo Samples and Sales Samples.
- You will be responsible for negotiating and confirming final costing with all vendors.
- You will set competitive market pricing while adhering to category standard margin requirements.
- You will work with the Production Planner and Line Manager to ensure all product information is accurate and current in the system.
- You will coordinate and ensure the timely delivery & accuracy of product copy for all communication materials.
- You will coordinate and ensure the timely delivery & accuracy of sales data and graphs for use in product presentations.
- You will be responsible for sequencing & presentation of the line, sample colors, hero images & collection stories in (not limited to): Internal Meetings, Team Reviews, Sales Meetings, Key Reps & Retailers, Catalogs & Printed Materials.

Reporting to the Category Manager for Soft Goods and Accessories, theTechnical Designer ACSG is responsible for maintaining the fit and quality standards across all products developed by the accessories and soft goods department.
Specific Responsibilities:
- As the departments fit specialist you will maintain and enforce the Nixon fit and construction standards for each product by building detailed tech packs with fit and construction details that include detailed measurements, size specs, sizes grades, illustrations detailing garment construction and points of measure.
- You will measure and take notes at the fittings with fit models and report and variances in the design spec for prototype samples, salesmen samples, pre-production samples and top of production samples to ensure that Nixon's fit and quality standards, on time deliveries and accurate costings are all met.
- You will ensure all necessary technical information is included in the original tech packs including wash and care instructions and care labels for each fabric and style.
- You will review and report any variances on TOP products for design accuracy and QC issues.
Special Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Apparel / Textile Design or 3 + years of experience in tech design.
- Knowledge of apparel construction, material construction and properties , pattern making.
- Ability to write garment specs and draw illustrations in Adobe Illustrator.
- Proven skills at problem solving.

Reporting to the Studio Manager, the Senior Interactive Designer will be responsible for the design execution and management of development for all online creative. The ideal candidate must be able to work efficiently on multiple projects in a tight deadline oriented environment and follow through on details of all projects from concept to completion. A thorough understanding of graphic design principles such as typography, layout, color and composition are essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to take projects through design to development, including but not limited to corporate website, microsites, landing pages, social media, email and marketing campaigns.
- Create UI designs, wireframes, mock-ups and screen flows as proof-of-concept prototypes.
- Design with a sensitivity to web architecture, user experience, multimedia communications and cross-platform compatibility.
- Develop and extend visual concepts that align with creative strategies and guidelines to execute an effective online experience.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve site usability, design and overall organizational and structural quality. Stay current with web design trends.

Requirements:
- 5 years experience, in-house or agency art department, and a portfolio demonstrating user experience and interaction design.
- BA or AA in Graphic Arts, Interactive Media or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Advanced understanding of user interface design and user experience with knowledge of information architecture.
- Expert use and understanding of current typographical, graphical, navigational, and web standards best practices.
- Working knowledge of front-end development protocols (CSS, HTML, Javascript). Action Script, Flash a plus.
- Ability to take creative direction and adapt to Nixon’s brand standards.
- Must be organized with a keen eye for detail, have excellent communication skills and a passion for problem solving.

Reports to the Category Manager of Technical Products, the full-time Product Manager for Men's watches will oversee the Merchandising, Design, Development, and Production of these products.
You will be expected to work closely with marketing, team, sales, and design personnel to oversee the life cycle of the products under your umbrella of responsibility from the early ideation stages through marketing and sales programs. All details of the developed products will be under the Product Manager’s supervision such as product specification, international vendor / production management, QC, testing, and scheduling.
A successful candidate is an organized planner and an excellent communicator with 3-6 yrs. of proven Product experience and a Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred). A solid understanding of manufacturing techniques in metals, printing, injection-molded plastics, a good design vocabulary, and the desire to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment is required.
Core computer literacy is critical for all Microsoft Office programs. Candidates should also have the ability to develop and express new, cool, cutting edge ideas, have an understanding of product specifications and production, with a working knowledge of technical design packages (Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop). Facilities Manager
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Facilities Manager will assist in any duties required to facilitate the operations of the company. Provide daily support for the Operations department as well as larger projects regarding the office facilities. Ensure the general order and cleanliness of the office facilities and assist all other departments as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all facilities-related vendors including security, janitorial, maintenance, office suppliers, and property managers.
- Proactively seek new vendor relationships to further enhance facilities and general work environment.
- Ensure the availability of resources for the entire company to perform in an efficient and professional manner.
- Provide individual employees with all tools needed to achieve success in their specific roles.
- Work with department managers to accommodate the physical incorporation of departmental growth into existing floor plans.

Distribution Center Team Members (Generalists) are responsible for performing all aspects of Nixon’s warehousing operations, in a safe and efficient manner. Team members will work under the direct supervision of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisors, as well as the Distribution Center Manager. This position is full-time.
General warehousing duties include:
- Order fulfillment (Order Picking, Packing and Manifest)
- Receiving duties
- International shipping
- Inventory control functions and physical inventory counts
- Quality verification of inbound product
- Project work as needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors, Distribution Center Manager and Director of Operations
Relevant Experience and Education:
- Prior work experience in a distribution warehouse preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to speak English required.
Working Conditions:
- Normal distribution warehouse working conditions apply.
- Ability to lift 50lbs required.
- Employees will be made aware of any hazards inherent to the warehousing nature of the position.
