Gony Zubizarreta
Born in Argentina, Gony grew up surfing the rough coastline of Spain’s Galicia. He started the WQS tour pretty young and recently put some excellent contest results under his belt. Still, Gony has the time to plug in several surf trips every year and please European mags with his radical moves. He is that kind of guy you will see with a smile on his face, even when he loses one of his heats. Maybe it’s the love of the sport that gives him the chilled attitude, or perhaps it’s because it just does not happen that often.
