John John is as talented as he is humble. Setting a new standard in surfing, the world has kept a close eye on John John since his early days when he was barely out of diapers and he hasn’t disappointed since. Once touted as a surf prodigy, John John was born in Oahu, where he still lives today. His back-to-back wins at Pipeline in 2011 (Da Hui Backdoor Shootout and Volcom Pipe Pro) put him on a path to win four NSSA titles. He was the youngest surfer to ever compete in The Triple Crown of Surfing and has graced the covers of Surfer, TransWorld SURF and Surfing as well as countless pages of other magazines. In addition to winning the Vans World Cup of Surfing, the Triple Crown title in 2011 and the Volcom Pipe Pro in 2012, John can now add the 2016 Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational and 2016 World Surf League World Title to his list of accolades. John John's style is a bit of a throwback and he lets his surfing do the talking for him; it’s saying he’s only just begun.
