Custom Bar Manager - Chadstone, VIC
As part of the opening of our first watch customisation booth in our Chadstone flagship store, we are searching for a Custom Bar Manager, with watchmaking experience, that will fully participate to the store’s reputation in being committed to make this new store the model for future store openings.
The Visual Merchant will be looked to for leadership and management of the visual communication process through cross functional partners such as Marketing, Logistics, Creative Services, and Product, Sales and Merchandising teams. In addition, this person will also work with our international offices to develop regional custom communications.
Custom Bar Manager Duties:
Following in-house watchmaking training, you will carry out the duties of Nixon Custom Bar Manager.
You will report into the store manager, and relevant Senior Retail team members.
You will be the creative hub of Nixon. Guiding and helping customers through an experience where the customer can become a Nixon designer.
Patience and understanding will be a key aspect in this role, making sure the experience is memorable and enjoyable as well as being aware of sales targets.
Along with guiding the customer through their personal experience, you will also be responsible for tracking and managing the custom/store figures and trends.
You will be in charge of a department within the store as you will also be required to manage the stock, take of spare parts, and overall efficiency of processes and procedures.
Customer centricity will be a focus by the quality of your engagement, product knowledge, and friendliness.
You will be responsible of the rules of presentation of the shop and of the merchandising of product throughout the store.
Work closely with the Store manager with the execution of store operations that is consistent with brand vision.
Make decisions that positively impact key performance indicators on a consistent basis.
Guarantee the highest quality of customer service.
Previous retail/sales in a managerial customer service centric role is mandatory.
Candidates must present as well-spoken and fluent in written and spoken English language.
Candidates must be well-presented and have an understanding of Nixon brand culture.
Candidates must have a basic understanding of word/excel.
Ideal candidate will have experience in a technical proficiency, I.E jewellery making, watch making, artistic nature that requires impeccable attention to detail.
