Nixon Gets Weird in South Africa

Nixon South Africa invited a crew of the country's best surfers to climb aboard some of the weirdest surfboards ever made to shred in the inaugural Nixon Weird Board and Corona Party Wave contest at Llandudno.

On the day of the event bright sun, two to three-foot wedging right handers, and a friendly atmosphere were on the menu. The surfers chose names out of of a box to determine which custom weird board—shaped by the country's finest shapers—each would ride and at the end of the day, Michael February rode away victorious on the Dave Stubbs/Starboard shaped, "The Anaconda."
