Etienne Aurelius

Born and raised on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, Etienne first picked up a camera at the age of 10. Since then has traveled the world as an award-winning filmmaker who is internationally recognized as for his abilities as a writer, director, cinematographer and producer among his many credits.

Whether he is filming a big wave worthy of a Ride of the Year award (like Billy Kemper’s 60ft wave at Pe’ahi, aka Jaws) or working on documentary series for Netflix—Etienne knows how to be at the right place, at the right time with the skills to capture whatever fate presents him. It’s not about luck, it’s about being well-prepared when opportunity knocks. Etienne is ready to answer.
