Nixon is proud to announce a new partnership with the world-famous Billabong Air & Style, scheduled to go down in the Austrian city of Innsbruck on February 4, 2012.

This year, this maximum-rated 6-Star Ticket to Ride (TTR) World Tour contest will once again attract the world's best freestyle snowboarders to the Bergisel stadium. There, the riders will battle it out in what is unquestionably one of professional snowboarding's most renowned amphitheaters. Pitting snowboarders in a single elimination, head-to-head format, The Billabong Air & Style is high stakes event with some of the best riding the snow world will witness this season.

As the 26 invited riders battle it out for the first place, Nixon's specially made and hand-crafted Nixon x Air & Style Magnacon watch will also be part of the overall prize for the winner. This prized watch features a unique 6-hand Swiss Made chronograph, a titanium carbide coated case with sapphire crystal, diamonds are featured as markers and is custom laser etched with Air & Style legendary wings. Derived from Nixon's The Magnacon watch model the specially designed timepiece with a retail value of $ 10,000.

At the time of going to press, confirmed riders for the event include current TTR World Tour Champion Peetu Piiroinen and reigning Billabong Air & Style Champion Mark McMorris, as well as the likes of Seb Toots and Seppe Smits - all part of the new generation of riders responsible for pushing the evolution of snowboarding to the next level on a day-to-day basis.
