Sudden Rush Banked Slalom by Nicolas Müller

Sudden Rush Banked Slalom by Nicolas Müller

Banked slalom is one of the oldest disciplines in snowboarding. Nixon was proud to support the Sudden Rush Banked Slalom on March 6-8th, in the Swiss resort of Laax, hosted by Nixon rider Nicolas Müller and friend Terje Haakonsen.

On this occasion, we were offering a custom engraved 51-30 Chrono to the winner of the competition. Check out the video recap:

Despite difficult weather conditions the Snowpark Laax Crew once again pulled it off, fought tooth and nail against high winds and heavy snowfall, and shovelled and shaped a fun yet tricky course. There were rollers, bumps, jumps, banks, gates, drops…just to name a few.

Saturday saw many categories rip through the course, from oldies to opens and pros, both mens and ladies, some faster than others, everyone had a blast!
