Digital Marketing Manager

Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the oversight, development, implementation and execution of the Nixon’s global digital media channels. S/he must operate with an eager, entrepreneurial, innovative mindset and cultivate strong connections within the Nixon global organization.
Working within the DTC team, this role is responsible for optimizing digital marketing channels to maximize revenue by increasing new customer acquisition and customer retention efforts across the key regions for Nixon; Australia, North America, Japan and Europe.
The role will collaborate closely within the Nixon DTC / digital marketing teams to achieve or exceed Nixon’s digital marketing business objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Priorities
Position Objectives
- 1. Execute best-in-class media campaigns & achieve performance through proactive optimization and effective campaign management.
- 2. Develop insights to empower internal teams & stakeholders to understand performance results and opportunities to scale profitably in digital marketing channels.
- 3. Bring fresh ideas and approaches to campaign execution to drive incremental improvements and program growth to reach business objectives.
Core Duties
- Management and oversight of Nixon’s marketing efforts on Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads and other real-time biddable media platforms.
- Execute marketing optimizations leveraging platform machine learning algorithms, best-of-class campaign architecture, forward thinking management approaches and a data centric monitoring of account performance.
- Analyze and optimize proactive and reactive campaign frameworks to align with overarching strategy and result trending.
- Work closely with Nixon’s Google, Bing and Facebook platform / product teams on introducing new initiatives, building vendor relationships with key marketing platforms and ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge within each platform.
- Evaluate of key-performance-indicators (KPIs) daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly to meet or exceed business objectives.
- Analyze tactical campaign performance data and identify optimization opportunities, campaign growth areas, and campaign performance challenges with recommendations
- Work with the internal stakeholders to evaluate, implement and maintain relationships with key partners across inventory, audience data providers and campaign UX integrations for customized digital media solutions.
- Stay apprised of industry news, platforms and opportunities for Nixon, conversations with potential vendors specifically within the programmatic / marketing automation space.
- Develop ad copy, execute keyword research, audience targeting discovery.
- Pull detailed reporting and data for internal reporting.
Key Experience Requirements
- Proven track record of managing ecommerce campaigns with aggressive ROAS and growth goals.
- Hands on experience with “value based” optimization frameworks and campaign management approaches.
- Basic understanding of machine learning and expertise on how to manage digital marketing programs to empower platform algorithms to improve performance.
- Experience in the management of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly channel budgets, performance forecasting, and reconciliation of platform fees.
- Ability to analyze and interrupt performance data + Nixon business data to develop insights and action plans to maximize investments that includes identifying variances in performance and proactive forecasting of results.
- Not required but preferred, hands-on / self-serve programmatic media (DSP) experience managing CTV, display and video campaigns (i.e. The Trade Desk, AppNexus, Media Math, Beeswax).
Ideal Candidate
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelors or master’s degree in business, marketing, statistics or relevant field preferred.
- 4+ years of managing real-time, direct response digital media campaigns for a brand or within a digital agency.
- Expert knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, & Facebook / Instagram Ads, (programmatic DSP experience a plus).
- Hands-on data analysis, detailed reporting and performance modeling.
- Proven track record driving direct response ecommerce campaigns with aggressive growth and while maintaining strong ROAS.
- Advanced understanding of media campaign setup, optimization, strategy and reporting frameworks for paid search and/or programmatic buying platforms.
- Understanding of digital marketing ecosystem from digital media to creative development and data management platforms like DMPs or CRMs.
- Be a proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
- Current certifications in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Blueprint, and Google Analytics

Position Summary

In this role, you will develop big ideas and translate them to high impact and effective campaign concepts and copy for integrated campaigns and marketing deliverables across all channels. Director of Development & Engineering
General Description
The Director of Development and Engineering is accountable for the development and engineering of all watches, bags, and headwear at Nixon. The Director of Development and Engineering works in concert with the design / product creation teams to identify and inform manufacturable solutions of the design intent. This role drives the process from tech pack to development rounds to production confirmation. In a box, tested and ready for mass production. External engineering may be required for complex projects and would be managed by this leader and team.
The Director of Development & Engineering will manage a team of product developers and vendors to deliver results that support NIXON’s quality standards and profit margin targets. As a player/coach, this leader can both manage his/her own projects as well oversee the work of their team. This leader has broad connections to external vendors, engineering groups and developers all over the world. The role requires a deep experience developing premium products that have complex engineering needs that include water resistance, power management, timing, software, firmware, soft-goods, bags and more. The Director of Development & Engineering reports directly to the VP of Product and will work closely with other leaders throughout Nixon.
Specific Responsibilities
- Product Development:
- Accountable for the development and engineering across all watch (analog, digital and connected), hats and bag categories.
- Sets our brand quality standards across each category and product type to assure carryover and new products meet and / or exceed the quality requirements at NIXON.
- Provides creative solutions to bring epic designs to life while staying on calendar and within our target cost requirements.
- Oversees critical steps required to bring a product to market. This includes but is not limited to user manuals, global compliance testing, technical copy, customer service reference guides, etc.
- Organizes and manages the products in development in the NIXON PLM system.
- Establishes strong communication with the Global Customer Service and Service Center Teams to identify areas where we can improve the product design and function to reduce return rates and improve the consumer experience for carryover products.
- Establishes a strong working knowledge of the price to value ratio of your product in collaboration with the PLM.
- Hits company margin targets with new products.
- Vendor Management & Sourcing:
- Negotiates pricing with vendors in collaboration with the Operations Production team.
- Is the primary point of contact between NIXON and the contract manufacturer to handle communication on product development.
- Runs point on problem solving and troubleshooting with vendors.
- Hunt, gather, and research new materials and construction methods that elevate the products you develop.
- Leadership & People Management:
- Leads and manages the team.
- Coaches their team members and colleagues on development and engineering.
- Communicates company plans, seasonal objectives and plans to the team.
- Hires and develops staff members.
- Prepares and conducts performance assessments and pay reviews.
Requirements

Position Summary
Nixon is seeking a Project Coordinator to support and organize the growing list of eCommerce project initiatives. This role requires someone with passion for communication with an eagerness to understand business objectives and how these can be supported by project management.
The Project Coordinator is a member of the DTC team and manages small to mid-size ecommerce and digital projects to ensure efficient and nimble execution of marketing and eCommerce related projects. This position coordinates cross-functional resources, establishes and manages project timelines, tasks, milestones and deliverables and ensures clarity of roles. They will further provide asset coordination as a key conduit between creative, digital marketing, site ops and development. This role encompasses project management, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight timeframes and a strong voice in timeline management. Position Summary
Drive sales growth by optimizing sales order management to meet financial targets. Identify areas for improvement by coordinating closely with the sales team to develop and implement solutions for retailers. Ensure customer SLAs are met by trading in compliance with retailer requirements. Analyze key metrics and present data that encourages decision making to others, including the management team. Specific Responsibilities

- Advocate Nixon’s Terms and Conditions with retailers to ensure overall profitability.
- Recommends changes to products or services to fulfill customer needs.
- Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution.
- Assist Sales Team with operational tasks, such as data analysis, policy execution, and negotiation with managers.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to the Executive and Sales Management teams as requested.
- Review return authorization requests; make sure swap returns are tied to replacement orders and all other returns follow outlined criteria or be approved by management.
- Help with the customer onboarding process and ensure agreements are met thereafter.
- Maintain data reliability in CRM, Salesforce.
- Optimize use of shared sales tools, such as B2B and reports, to enforce best practices with territory sales representatives.
- Maintain effective communication with cross functional teams to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of the sales team.
- Further develop internal tools and processes by providing feedback on performance, value, and efficiency.
