This Senior level role at Nixon creates excitement for Nixon in the wholesale channel, both online and offline. This leader confidently sells the brand and its unique product positioning within the growing non-connect watch market. They closely partner with our major accounts and our large network of specialty dealers to drive interest and engagement with the brand. This role also successfully identifies new opportunities for growth through new dealers, door expansions, and new ways of distribution.

As a member of the Nixon executive team, this VP is accountable for growth and profitability of the North American, Latin American, and European Wholesale channels, including oversight of the US Reps, regional distributors, and agency partners. In addition to financial targets, this position is responsible for how the brand shows up in market, implementation of successful market activations, and account servicing. This leader understands the power and leverage of a global brand when goals, brand messaging, and activations are aligned across all channels and regions.


Wholesale Channel

  • Identifies strategic priorities for the North American and European sales department and implements sales plans to achieve annual targets.
  • Fosters senior level relationship with our Key Accounts to gain insight, align strategies, and increase volume of sales.
  • Oversees the Rep sales force including regular two-way communication, evaluation of performance, and updating/replacing as needed.
  • Identifies and acquires new accounts both for sales growth and brand impressions.
  • Creates a premium, memorable brand experience through product, POP, digital marketing, and events in the wholesale channel.
  • Maximizes inventory and marketing within the existing wholesale footprint. Identifies and enacts plans to increase sales per door.
  • Oversees key global distributors and smartly scaling investment of time and support.
  • As the most senior sales leader, works closely with sales team in Australia and sales support team in Europe to ensure alignment of strategies, plans, and tactics.

Senior Leadership

  • As key member of the executive team, collaborate on the achievement of strategic goals across all departments.
  • Ensure accurate and actionable weekly, monthly, and seasonal performance reporting for the sales channels.
  • Updates and collaborates with executive team on department progress and obstacles.
  • Presents confidently from board level to key dealers, to the end consumer.
  • Own the P&L for Wholesale, including budgeting, forecasting, and contingency plans.
  • Partner with DTC to avoid channel conflict, adhere to MAP and flex on promotions and gap-closers when the brand, channel or customer requires.

Culture & People Management

  • Manages the senior sales leaders and the wholesale support team.
  • Creates a mentorship culture through providing coaching on goal achievement, brand understanding, product vision, quality expectations and business acumen.
  • Leads by example bringing energy and positivity to every interaction.
  • Hires and develops sales staff.
  • Prepare and conduct performance assessments.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in wholesale
  • Track record of success with opening new accounts
  • Experience in Action Sports or Sports brands preferred
  • Proven ability to build and manage high performance cross-functional teams
  • Experience with digital and retail marketing
  • Ability to think ahead and solve problems before they are created
  • Thrives in a hands-on environment with a high regard for teamwork

    Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable by managing cash and daily accounting operations. This position will also provide support to the Accounting Team, including the CFO and Accounting Manager, by sharing best practices and identifying opportunities to enhance business processes.


    • Manage Daily Bank Activities and Cash Flow
      • Prepare Bank ACH/WIRE payments
      • Post Daily Sweep entries
      • Reconcile Cash Daily
      • Initiate bank transferS
      • Application and Research of AR payments
    • Run monthly Commission Reports, post invoices, and send emails to reps
    • Post Bi-monthly Payroll Journals
    • Monthly Corporate AMEX reconciliation
    • Assist with month end procedures including but not limited to booking accrued vacation, prepaids, monthly depreciation, and balance sheet reconciliations
    • Post monthly health insurance invoices
    • Assist accounting manager with monthly department expense reports analysis
    • Run weekly AP aging report and compile check run file
    • Post product and freight invoices
    • Develop a clear understanding of ERP, portals, and platform functionalities and use.
    • Develop process improvements for Accounting Department and maintain up-to-date SOP’s
    • Assist Accounting Team as needed
    • Research MISC Accounting issues as needed
    • Maintain positive and productive relationships with all Nixon Departments
    • Additional duties as assigned


    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
    • 3+ years’ experience in Accounting
    • NAV, or other large ERP System, experience Preferred
    • Strong knowledge of MS office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Advanced Excel knowledge – Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Team player with a high standard for quality of work and a “can do” attitude
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the facility to maintain a professional dialogue at all times
    • Clear understanding of protecting the financial bottom line
