Introducing the 51-30 Chrono Friday the 13th... Valenteenth Edition

This February marks the 5th edition of our elusive Friday the 13th 51-30 Chronos, but the tie between Nixon and this lucky (or unlucky) day goes back to the very beginning.

If you've been paying attention to our product photography since 1998, you might have noticed that every date window displays Friday the 13th on the dial. Why? Well, a better question is, why not?

In the world of watches, there are many rules, such as setting the time to 10:10 or making sure the crowns are pushed all the way in. This was our way of saying that for those really paying attention to the details, we have a little Easter egg for you to discover.

51-30 Chrono Friday the 13th Valenteeth Edition

Then came the idea of the extra-exclusive Friday the 13th 51-30 Chronos, displaying only the number 13 on the dial. What started as just 13 individually numbered pieces for the United States has now grown to include other regions such as Canada, Australia, and Europe, each receiving 13 of their own.

Now in 2026, we have the rare occasion of three Friday the 13ths in the same calendar year. So we’re going big with three separate drops. First up is February, featuring its stark neon red “Valenteenth” edition.

Each of the four regions we ship to will have their own special edition of this watch, with a debossed version in a different location on the dial depending on the region.

Here is how that debossed 13 breaks down across our four served regions:

  • AU: debossed 13 at 4 o’clock
  • EU: debossed 13 at 10 o’clock
  • CA: debossed 13 at 8 o'clock
  • US: debossed 13 at 2 o’clock

Check in to get yours at 1pm AEST, CET and PST!
