What started as a creative experiment in 2000 has evolved into something truly special. The Nixon LTD Rock Collection began by repurposing vintage leather jackets into custom watches, but it quickly became more personal when legendary artists started donating their own clothing and accessories for the program.
Each watch, fused with these materials, transforms into a wearable piece of music history, carrying the spirit and story of the artist who contributed to its creation.
This year's collection showcases an incredible lineup of rock royalty:
Dave Grohl's contribution features a Nixon LTD Sentry with a removable field strap made from his donated green and blue flannel shirt.
Krist Novoselic's piece incorporates his denim jacket into the band design.
Slash brings his signature style with a strap crafted from his black leather motorcycle jacket.
Iggy Pop's watch features a band created from his embossed leather belt.
Each of the extremely rare, individually numbered watches comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Presidents of both Nixon and MusiCares, making them true collector's pieces that carry both cultural and charitable significance.
